أَعُوذُ بِاللَّهِ مِنَ الشَّيْطَانِ الرَّجِيمِ
A'udhu billahi minash-Shaytanir-Rajim
I seek refuge in Allah from Shaytan, the accursed.
The Prophet ﷺ prescribed three actions for bad dreams: (1) Seek refuge in Allah from Shaytan, (2) Spit lightly to your left three times, (3) Turn to the other side. And: do not tell anyone about the dream. Bad dreams are from Shaytan, designed to frighten you. They have no meaning and no power — unless you give them power by dwelling on them. The cure is in dismissal, not analysis.
