La ilaha illallahul-Wahidul-Qahhar, Rabbus-samawati wal-ardi wa ma baynahumal-'Azizul-Ghaffar

There is no deity except Allah, the One, the Prevailing. Lord of the heavens and the earth and all between them, the Almighty, the Oft-Forgiving.

SahihAn-Nasa'i in Amal al-Yawm wal-Laylah, Al-Hakim 1/540

For the person who cannot fall asleep, tossing and turning. The Prophet ﷺ prescribed this dhikr for insomnia. Al-Qahhar (the Prevailing, the Overpowering) — the One who overpowers everything, including your racing mind. Al-Ghaffar (the Oft-Forgiving) — because sometimes guilt and unresolved sins keep you awake. These Names address both the mental and spiritual causes of sleeplessness.

In Your Name, my Lord, I lay down my side, and by You I will rise. If You take my soul, have mercy on it, and if You release it, protect it as You protect Your righteous servants.

O Allah, Lord of the seven heavens and Lord of the Magnificent Throne, our Lord and Lord of everything, Splitter of the seed and the date-stone, Revealer of the Torah, the Gospel, and the Criterion. I seek refuge in You from the evil of everything whose forelock You hold.

O Allah, You created my soul and You will take it. To You belongs its death and its life. If You keep it alive, protect it, and if You cause it to die, forgive it. O Allah, I ask You for well-being.
