اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِي ذُنُوبِي وَافْتَحْ لِي أَبْوَابَ رَحْمَتِكَ
Allahummagh-fir li dhunubi waftah li abwaba rahmatik
O Allah, forgive my sins and open for me the doors of Your mercy.
The Prophet ﷺ said: "Three supplications are not rejected: the du'a of the traveler, the du'a of the parent for their child, and the du'a of the fasting person." Being a traveler gives your du'a a special status — you are displaced, vulnerable, and dependent. Allah responds to that vulnerability. Use your travel time wisely: every du'a on the road carries extra weight.
