O Allah, put distance between me and my sins as You have put distance between the East and the West.
Originally an opening du'a of prayer, but the travel metaphor makes it fitting for journeys. The greatest distance on earth — East to West — is used to describe how far you want to be from your sins. Every journey is an opportunity for a fresh start: new places, new beginnings, new distance from old mistakes. Travel is a physical reset; this du'a makes it a spiritual one too.
