Allahumma inni a'udhu bika min wa'tha'is-safari wa ka'abatil-mandhari wa su'il-munqalabi fil-mali wal-ahli

O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the hardships of travel, depressing sights, and a bad return regarding wealth and family.

SahihSahih al-Bukhari 1345, Sahih Muslim 1343

The Prophet ﷺ covered every anxiety a traveler could have: the physical exhaustion of the road, the emotional toll of being away, and the fear of coming home to find something has gone wrong with your money or family. "Ka'abatil-mandhar" (depressing sights) even covers the psychological impact of witnessing hardship during travel.
