اللَّهُمَّ لَا تَقْتُلْنَا بِغَضَبِكَ وَلَا تُهْلِكْنَا بِعَذَابِكَ وَعَافِنَا قَبْلَ ذَلِكَ
Allahumma la taqtulna bi-ghadabika wa la tuhlikna bi-'adhabika wa 'afina qabla dhalik
O Allah, do not kill us with Your anger, do not destroy us with Your punishment, and grant us safety before that.
The Prophet ﷺ would say this during severe storms. Storms remind us of the nations destroyed by wind and rain — 'Ad, Thamud, the people of Lut. When the weather turns violent, it is a moment to remember that what we call "natural disasters" are, in the Quran, divine judgments on disobedient peoples. This du'a asks: don't let this storm be that.

اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ خَيْرَهَا وَخَيْرَ مَا فِيهَا وَخَيْرَ مَا أُرْسِلَتْ بِهِ وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ شَرِّهَا وَشَرِّ مَا فِيهَا وَشَرِّ مَا أُرْسِلَتْ بِهِ
O Allah, I ask You for its good, the good within it, and the good it was sent with. And I seek refuge in You from its evil, the evil within it, and the evil it was sent with.
Sahihاللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ مِنْ خَيْرِ مَا سَأَلَكَ عَبْدُكَ وَنَبِيُّكَ مُحَمَّدٌ وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا اسْتَعَاذَ مِنْهُ عَبْدُكَ وَنَبِيُّكَ
O Allah, I ask You for the good that Your servant and Prophet Muhammad ﷺ asked You for, and I seek refuge in You from the evil that Your servant and Prophet sought refuge from.
Hasanاللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ خَيْرَهَا وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ شَرِّهَا
O Allah, I ask You for its good and seek refuge in You from its evil.
Sahihمُطِرْنَا بِفَضْلِ اللَّهِ وَرَحْمَتِهِ
We have been given rain by the grace and mercy of Allah.
