بِسْمِ اللَّهِ وَاللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ اللَّهُمَّ مِنْكَ وَلَكَ اللَّهُمَّ تَقَبَّلْ مِنِّي
Bismillahi wallahu Akbar, Allahumma minka wa lak, Allahumma taqabbal minni
In the Name of Allah, and Allah is the Greatest. O Allah, from You and for You. O Allah, accept from me.
Said when performing the sacrifice (udhiyah/qurbani). "Minka" — this animal is from You (You created it, You provided the money to buy it). "Wa lak" — and it is for You (the purpose of this sacrifice is Your pleasure, not tradition or display). The du'a frames the sacrifice as a full circle: the animal came from Allah's creation, and it returns to Him as worship. Nothing is truly yours to give; you are just returning what was always His.
