Labbayk Allahumma 'Umratan (or Hajjan). Labbayk Allahumma labbayk, labbayka la sharika laka labbayk. Innal-hamda wan-ni'mata laka wal-mulk, la sharika lak.

Here I am, O Allah, for Umrah (or Hajj). Here I am, O Allah, here I am. Here I am, You have no partner, here I am. Indeed, all praise, blessings, and dominion are Yours. You have no partner.

SahihSahih Muslim 1184

The declaration of intent (niyyah) followed immediately by the Talbiyah — the anthem of pilgrimage. You state your purpose — Umrah or Hajj — then begin the Talbiyah, which continues throughout the journey. From this moment, the restrictions of ihram begin: no perfume, no cutting nails, no hunting, no marital relations. You strip yourself of worldly comforts and stand before Allah in two white cloths, indistinguishable from every other pilgrim. "Labbayk" — I respond to Your call — is the pilgrim's answer to Ibrahim's (AS) proclamation made thousands of years ago when he called humanity to Hajj.
