Allahummaj'alhu hajjan mabruran wa sa'yan mashkuran wa dhanban maghfuran wa 'amalan salihan maqbulan wa tijaratan lan tabur

O Allah, make it an accepted Hajj, a praised effort, a forgiven sin, a righteous deed accepted, and a transaction that never declines.

HasanAl-Hakim, At-Tabarani — widely used in Hajj traditions

The five hopes of every pilgrim distilled into one du'a: a Hajj that is mabrur (accepted — no sin or argumentation), effort that is mashkur (appreciated by Allah), sins that are maghfur (completely forgiven), a righteous deed accepted (not just done but counted), and a trade that never goes bankrupt — echoing the Quran's language in Surah Fatir (35:29). The Prophet ﷺ said: "An accepted Hajj has no reward except Paradise." This du'a asks for the full package: acceptance, reward, forgiveness, and an eternal return on your investment of time, money, and effort.
