بِسْمِ اللَّهِ
Bismillah
In the Name of Allah.
The Prophet ﷺ told Umar ibn Abi Salamah (RA): "Say Bismillah, eat with your right hand, and eat from what is nearest to you." Three etiquettes in one sentence. Saying Bismillah before eating means Shaytan cannot share your meal. Without it, he eats with you. The simplest word transforms a biological act into worship and bars an invisible intruder from your table.
