اللَّهُمَّ بَارِكْ لِي فِي أَهْلِي وَبَارِكْ لَهُمْ فِيَّ وَارْزُقْنِي خَيْرَهُمْ وَارْزُقْهُمْ خَيْرِي
Allahumma barik li fi ahli wa barik lahum fiyya warzuqni khayrahum warzuqhum khayri
O Allah, bless me through my family and bless them through me. Grant me the best of them and grant them the best of me.
Mutual barakah — asking that your family becomes a source of blessing for you, and you become a source of blessing for them. The addition of "grant me the best of them and grant them the best of me" takes it further: it asks Allah to bring out each person's best side in the family dynamic. The bidirectional nature is important: some people are blessed by their family but are themselves a burden. Others give everything but receive nothing. This du'a asks for the flow of blessing and goodness to work in both directions — a family where everyone lifts everyone else, and where the best version of each person shows up at home, not just outside.
