Allahumma innahu 'abduka wabnu 'abdika wabnu amatik, kana yash-hadu an la ilaha illa Anta wa anna Muhammadan 'abduka wa rasuluk, wa Anta a'lamu bih

O Allah, he is Your servant, son of Your male servant, son of Your female servant. He used to testify that there is no deity except You and that Muhammad is Your servant and messenger, and You know him best.

HasanAbu Dawud 3199, Ahmad 2/368

This Janazah du'a introduces the deceased to Allah — as if presenting them before the King. "Your servant, son of Your servant, son of Your female servant" — establishing that this person comes from a lineage of servitude to Allah. Then the most important credential: "He testified to Your Oneness." And finally, the humility: "You know him better than we do." We present, but You judge.
