إِنَّ لِلَّهِ مَا أَخَذَ وَلَهُ مَا أَعْطَى وَكُلُّ شَيْءٍ عِنْدَهُ بِأَجَلٍ مُسَمًّى
Inna lillahi ma akhadh, wa lahu ma a'ta, wa kullu shay'in 'indahu bi-ajalin musamma
To Allah belongs what He took, and to Him belongs what He gave, and everything with Him has an appointed time.
When the Prophet ﷺ was informed that the child of one of his daughters was dying, he sent these words as consolation. They acknowledge that everything — life, death, wealth, loss — belongs to Allah and occurs by His decree at an appointed time.

اللَّهُمَّ لَا تَحْرِمْنَا أَجْرَهُ وَلَا تُضِلَّنَا بَعْدَهُ
O Allah, do not deprive us of his reward, and do not lead us astray after him.
Sahihاللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لَهُ وَارْحَمْهُ وَأَدْخِلْهُ الْجَنَّةَ وَأَعِذْهُ مِنْ عَذَابِ الْقَبْرِ
O Allah, forgive him, have mercy on him, admit him to Paradise, and protect him from the punishment of the grave.
Sahihاللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِحَيِّنَا وَمَيِّتِنَا وَصَغِيرِنَا وَكَبِيرِنَا وَذَكَرِنَا وَأُنْثَانَا وَشَاهِدِنَا وَغَائِبِنَا
O Allah, forgive our living and our dead, our young and our old, our males and our females, our present and our absent.
Sahihاللَّهُمَّ اجْعَلْ قَبْرِي رَوْضَةً مِنْ رِيَاضِ الْجَنَّةِ وَلَا تَجْعَلْهُ حُفْرَةً مِنْ حُفَرِ النَّارِ
O Allah, make my grave a garden from the gardens of Paradise, and do not make it a pit from the pits of the Fire.
