اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لَهُ وَارْفَعْ دَرَجَتَهُ فِي الْمَهْدِيِّينَ وَافْسَحْ لَهُ فِي قَبْرِهِ وَنَوِّرْ لَهُ فِيهِ
Allahummagh-fir lahu warfa' darajatahu fil-mahdiyyin wafsah lahu fi qabrihi wa nawwir lahu fih
O Allah, forgive him, raise his rank among the guided, make his grave spacious, and illuminate it for him.
Four requests for the deceased that cover their entire post-death journey: forgiveness (cleanse their record), raised rank (elevate their station in Paradise), spacious grave (comfort in the barzakh), and light (illumination in the darkness of the grave). Each request addresses a different phase of the afterlife. A complete care package for someone who can no longer help themselves.

Sahihاللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لَهُ وَارْحَمْهُ وَعَافِهِ وَاعْفُ عَنْهُ وَأَكْرِمْ نُزُلَهُ وَوَسِّعْ مُدْخَلَهُ وَاغْسِلْهُ بِالْمَاءِ وَالثَّلْجِ وَالْبَرَدِ وَنَقِّهِ مِنَ الذُّنُوبِ وَالْخَطَايَا كَمَا يُنَقَّى الثَّوْبُ الْأَبْيَضُ مِنَ الدَّنَسِ وَأَبْدِلْهُ دَارًا خَيْرًا مِنْ دَارِهِ وَأَهْلًا خَيْرًا مِنْ أَهْلِهِ وَزَوْجًا خَيْرًا مِنْ زَوْجِهِ وَأَدْخِلْهُ الْجَنَّةَ وَأَعِذْهُ مِنْ عَذَابِ الْقَبْرِ وَعَذَابِ النَّارِ
O Allah, forgive him, have mercy on him, grant him well-being, pardon him, honor his reception, expand his entrance, and wash him with water, snow, and hail. Cleanse him of sins and wrongdoings as a white garment is cleansed of filth. Grant him an abode better than his home, a family better than his family, and a spouse better than his spouse. Admit him to Paradise and protect him from the punishment of the grave and the torment of the Fire.
Sahihاللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِحَيِّنَا وَمَيِّتِنَا وَصَغِيرِنَا وَكَبِيرِنَا وَذَكَرِنَا وَأُنْثَانَا وَشَاهِدِنَا وَغَائِبِنَا
O Allah, forgive our living and our dead, our young and our old, our males and our females, our present and our absent.
Sahihلَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ
There is no deity except Allah. (Encourage the dying person to say these as their last words.)
Sahih
