Allahumma ajirni minan-Nar, Allahumma ajirni minan-Nar, Allahumma ajirni minan-Nar. Allahumma inni a'udhu bika minan-Nar
O Allah, save me from the Fire. O Allah, save me from the Fire. O Allah, save me from the Fire. O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the Fire.
The Prophet ﷺ instructed: "When you pray Fajr, say seven times before speaking: 'Allahumma ajirni minan-Nar.' If you die that day, Allah will write for you protection from the Fire. And when you pray Maghrib, say it seven times. If you die that night, Allah will write protection for you." He also said: "If anyone asks Allah for Paradise three times, Paradise says: 'O Allah, admit him.' And if anyone seeks refuge from the Fire three times, the Fire says: 'O Allah, protect him.'" The repetition is the point — it builds urgency, sincerity, and activates the intercession of Paradise and Hell themselves on your behalf.
