اللَّهُمَّ سَلِّمْنِي لِرَمَضَانَ وَسَلِّمْ رَمَضَانَ لِي وَتَسَلَّمْهُ مِنِّي مُتَقَبَّلًا
Allahumma sallimni li-Ramadana wa sallim Ramadana li wa tasallamhu minni mutaqabbala
O Allah, keep me safe for Ramadan, keep Ramadan safe for me, and accept it from me.
Three requests: (1) Keep me alive and healthy until Ramadan arrives (sallimni li-Ramadan). (2) Keep Ramadan intact for me — no illness, no travel, no distraction that prevents me from fasting fully (sallim Ramadana li). (3) Accept my worship in it (tasallamhu minni mutaqabbala). Arrival, completion, and acceptance — the three anxieties of every Ramadan. This du'a addresses all of them.
