اللَّهُمَّ لَكَ صُمْتُ وَعَلَى رِزْقِكَ أَفْطَرْتُ
Allahumma laka sumtu wa 'ala rizqika aftartu
O Allah, for You I have fasted and with Your provision I break my fast.
Said at the moment of iftar. "For You I fasted" — dedicating the hunger, the thirst, the patience to Allah. "With Your provision I break my fast" — acknowledging that even the food ending your fast is His gift. It bookends the day: you started fasting for Him, and you end it through Him. The entire day becomes a continuous act of worship.
