Allahummah-fadhni min bayni yadayya wa min khalfi wa 'an yamini wa 'an shimali wa min fawqi, wa a'udhu bi'adhamatika an ughtala min tahti
O Allah, protect me from in front of me, from behind me, from my right, from my left, and from above me. And I seek refuge in Your Greatness from being swallowed up from beneath me.
This du'a covers all six directions. The Prophet ﷺ specifically sought refuge from being "swallowed from beneath" — scholars say this refers to sinkholes, earthquakes, or any sudden destruction from below. It is a 360-degree shield, leaving no angle unprotected.
