رَبَّنَا آمَنَّا فَاغْفِرْ لَنَا وَارْحَمْنَا وَأَنتَ خَيْرُ الرَّاحِمِينَ
Rabbana amanna faghfir lana warhamna wa Anta khayrur-Rahimin
Our Lord, we have believed, so forgive us and have mercy on us, and You are the best of the merciful.
The du'a that a group of believers in the Quran made — and were mocked for by the arrogant. Allah says: "But you took them in mockery to the point that they made you forget My remembrance, and you used to laugh at them" (23:110). Then: "Indeed, I have rewarded them this Day for their patience — they are the successful ones." The mockers lost; the ones making du'a won. Patience and du'a always win in the end.
