اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِي ذَنْبِي كُلَّهُ دِقَّهُ وَجِلَّهُ وَأَوَّلَهُ وَآخِرَهُ وَعَلَانِيَتَهُ وَسِرَّهُ
Allahummaghfir li dhanbi kullahu, diqqahu wa jillahu, wa awwalahu wa akhirahu, wa 'alaniyyatahu wa sirrahu
O Allah, forgive all of my sins — the small and the great, the first and the last, the public and the private.
The Prophet ﷺ would say this in his prostration during prayer. It is a comprehensive asking of forgiveness that leaves no sin uncovered — covering every dimension: size, time, and visibility.
Related Du'as
رَبِّ إِنِّي ظَلَمْتُ نَفْسِي فَاغْفِرْ لِي
My Lord, indeed I have wronged myself, so forgive me.
Sahihلَا إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا أَنتَ سُبْحَانَكَ إِنِّي كُنتُ مِنَ الظَّالِمِينَ
There is no deity except You; exalted are You. Indeed, I have been of the wrongdoers.
Sahihرَبِّ اغْفِرْ وَارْحَمْ وَأَنْتَ خَيْرُ الرَّاحِمِينَ
My Lord, forgive and have mercy, and You are the best of those who show mercy.
Sahihاللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِي مَا قَدَّمْتُ وَمَا أَخَّرْتُ وَمَا أَسْرَرْتُ وَمَا أَعْلَنْتُ وَمَا أَسْرَفْتُ وَمَا أَنْتَ أَعْلَمُ بِهِ مِنِّي
O Allah, forgive me for what I have sent ahead and what I have left behind, what I have concealed and what I have made public, where I have transgressed, and what You know about me more than I do.
