رَبِّ إِنِّي لِمَا أَنْزَلْتَ إِلَيَّ مِنْ خَيْرٍ فَقِيرٌ
Rabbi inni lima anzalta ilayya min khayrin faqir
My Lord, indeed I am, for whatever good You would send down to me, in need.
Prophet Musa (AS) said this after fleeing Egypt with nothing — no home, no money, no food. He simply expressed his need to Allah. Immediately after, two women approached him, which led to shelter, employment, and eventually marriage. This du'a teaches us to express our need to Allah with humility, not desperation.
