اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ الْكَسَلِ وَالْهَرَمِ وَالْمَأْثَمِ وَالْمَغْرَمِ
Allahumma inni a'udhu bika minal-kasali wal-harami wal-ma'thami wal-maghrami
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from laziness, senility, sin, and debt.
Four enemies of productivity and provision: laziness (the killer of ambition), old age that takes your faculties (loss of capacity), sin (which blocks barakah), and debt (which enslaves you to other humans). Aisha (RA) asked: "Why do you so frequently seek refuge from debt?" He said: "When a person is in debt, he speaks and lies, makes promises and breaks them." Debt corrupts your character.
