Allahumma ballighna Laylatal-Qadr waj'alna fiha minal-maqbulin wa la tahrimna khayraha waktub lana fihal-'itqa minan-Nar
O Allah, let us reach Laylatul Qadr, make us among the accepted in it, do not deprive us of its goodness, and decree for us in it freedom from the Fire.
Not everyone who enters Ramadan reaches its last ten nights. Not everyone who reaches the last ten catches Laylatul Qadr — the night worth more than a thousand months (83+ years of worship in a single night). The Prophet ﷺ would tighten his izaar (prepare for intense worship), pray all night, and wake his family during the last ten. This du'a is a petition for four things: survival (let me live to see it), acceptance (let my worship in it count), access to its blessings (don't let me sleep through it), and the ultimate prize — freedom from the Fire. Ask to be among those who make it and those who benefit from it.
