Allahumma zid hadhal-Bayta tashrifan wa ta'dhiman wa takriman wa mahabah, wa zid man sharrafahu wa 'adhdhamahu mimman hajjahu awi'tamarahu tashrifan wa takriman wa ta'dhiman wa birra

O Allah, increase this House in honor, reverence, nobility, and awe. And increase those who honor and revere it — among those who perform Hajj or Umrah to it — in honor, nobility, reverence, and righteousness.

HasanAl-Bayhaqi in Shu'ab al-Iman, Ibn Khuzaymah 4/212

The full du'a for the moment your eyes first see the Ka'bah — a moment when du'a is accepted. The first half asks Allah to elevate the Ka'bah's spiritual rank. The second half extends the blessing to every pilgrim who honors it — asking that they too be elevated in honor, nobility, reverence, and birr (righteousness). You do not ask for the Ka'bah to be bigger or more decorated; you ask for its spiritual rank to increase, and for the pilgrims to be transformed by the experience. "Mahabah" (awe) is the most striking — asking Allah to make the Ka'bah more awe-inspiring in the hearts of people, generation after generation.
