O Allah, I ask You for well-being in this world and the next. O Allah, I ask You for pardon and well-being in my religion, my worldly affairs, my family, and my wealth.
Ibn Umar (RA) said the Prophet ﷺ never left these words in the morning or evening. When Abbas (RA) asked the Prophet ﷺ to teach him something special to ask Allah, he said: "Ask Allah for al-'afiyah (well-being)." He asked again the next day, and the Prophet ﷺ repeated: "Ask for al-'afiyah — for no one is given anything better after certainty of faith than 'afiyah."
